I Almost Died Today

I Almost Died Today

Yes, I almost died today. Without going into the minute details I swirved to miss a vehicle on the highway this morning while driving in the slow lane and I lost control of my car going 65mph. I did a full 360 turn and another 180 across four lanes of full, morning traffic and ended up facing oncoming traffic in the fast lane. How I did this without hitting anyone or anyone hitting me is an complete and total miracle. This all happened within a few seconds of course. When I realized that I had lost control of my car (my son Owen was fast asleep in his carseat) I yelled out "NO!" Not a "No, this can't be happening" or a "No, I don't want this to happen", but a "No!, this is not going to happen to me today!" It was like my Higher Self proclaimed that nothing is going to happen regardless of this circumstance. A real word of power, creating my life and in this case saving our lives.

I ended up facing oncoming traffic in the fast lane and I threw my car in reverse and backed it up against the fastlane shoulder and as soon as I did a truck slammed on its breaks and missed me by inches. No one got hurt, no vehicle got hit. I sat there on the shoulder shaking and my son said, "Dad, whats going on?"

I am completely grateful for my life today and especially the life of my wonderful son. I went to work as normal, but several times throughout the day I broke down crying with an overflowing heart of thankfulness. Every day that I have from this day forth is a bonus day. I give thanks to The Source, The Goddess, The Higher Consciousness for an amazing day and Life. :)

Wow! You are lucky to be alive! I'm glad you are! And to think your son slept through all the real terror and woke up only when you were both safe! Typical kid!

*HUGS* to you both.

All I can think to say is... WOW. You had a lot of angels watching over you and Owen, my friend. More than one miracle happened to you. Every day is so precious. What a way to be reminded. Lots of hugs and love to you both.

Ruth:

You're an amazing person, John. Every day in a human skin is not a guarantee, but you and your son have another day to live and enjoy life.

Blessings! Glad you're still here!
